Lanzarote Part I

The island of Lanzarote is about 4 hours flight time from the UK .Most of the low cost airlines like Jet2, Norwegian, Thomson Airways,Easyjet and Monarch have regular flights at least once a week or every day during the high season. This is one of the most peaceful holiday places suitable for relaxation, surfing and re-connection with your inner self.

Matagorda is the closest resort to the airport and main city Arecife.I personally recommend this resort as it is secluded and not as windy as Playa Blanca. It is popular with the kilometers long promenade suitable for walking and cycling. The hotels’ infrastructure on the island is new and controlled development means that the vast bulk of the island remains as Mother Nature intended. That is to say beautiful and unspoiled.©Truly Natural Photography

The Canaries have warm and sunny weather all year round with temperatures rarely under 16C in Winter and 25C in Summer. This is partly due to their closeness to northern Africa, making them one of the sunniest places on the planet©Truly Natural Photography
